That’s $105 a month you could apply to your mortgage, sock away for Timmy’s college or fund an escape to Tahiti. A vanpool operates with an organized route, schedule, and passenger fares. Vanpools consist of seven to fifteen people sharing a van. Driving may be the responsibility of one or more of the employees, who travel for free in exchange. To be cost-effective, a vanpool generally requires at least 8 employees and a commute of at least 10 miles each way.
