Beaverton Transit Center to Goose Hollow (where we stopped for a tasty beverage). It was a great success. The ride was about 9 miles, and almost all on quiet neighborhood streets or protected bike paths. We encourage all of you to try it sometime whether as a commute or a leisurely weekend ride. Below are the directions for the route we took.
- North on Lombard from Beaverton TC
- Right on Center St
- Left on to trail in small park
- Immediate Right on 116th
- Right on Fairfield
- Immediate Left on 116th
- Left on Terra Linda
- Right on Mayfield which will take you to the traffic light across Walker
- Right on Lynnridge (first street past Walker)
- Left on Roxbury (this is the climb up to 26)
- Right on Wilshire (takes you across 217)
- Left on 96th (takes you to beginning of bike path)
- Follow bike path (brings you out on Pointer) to Camelot Ct
- Left on Camelot Ct (takes you over 26 to north side)
- Right onto bike path – follow until it ends at Canyon Ct
- Follow Canyon Ct to zoo
- ZOO BOMB!
