Hall Boulevard pedestrian and bicycle improvements

​These pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements on Hall Boulevard in Tigard include:

• A new crosswalk and Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) at SW Ashford Street, located on the south side of the intersection. RRFBs use flashing yellow lights at marked crosswalks to alert drivers that someone is crossing the street. Pedestrians activate the beacons with the press of a button. ​
• New lighting in the intersections of SW Bonita Road, SW Avon Street and SW Pfaffle Street.
• Speed feedback signs in various locations.
• New green bicycle striping in various locations.
• Signal upgrades to include leading pedestrian signal (the pedestrian signal turns green a few seconds before the main signal to give pedestrians a head start on crossing the street). These will be at SW Hunzinker Road/SW Scoffins Street, SW Burnham Street, SW Wall Street, SW McDonald Street, SW Bonita Road and SW Sattler Street.
• Sign upgrades and vegetation trimming throughout.
• Paving three sections of Hall Boulevard in the orange sections in the graphic.
