Annual free month-pass for reduced fare participants
We're committed to making transportation options more affordable for our most vulnerable communities. That's why we're stepping up to fill a gap after TriMet discontinued their annual free month-pass benefit for reduced-fare card holders.
Anyone who lives or works in Washington County, or is an employee of or affiliated with a member of Westside Transportation Alliance; and is a reduced-fare Hop Fastpass card holder is eligible for this benefit.

Introducing SPOT: shared transit for Southwest Washington County
A new way to get around Southwest Washington County has arrived. A collaboration between Washington County and Ride Connection, SPOT (Shared Public on-Demand Transit) Southwest provides public transportation to South Cooper Mountain, River Terrace, and Progress Ridge, with service to Washington Square Transit Center.

Ride free for Rosa Parks day
To celebrate Rosa Parks’ birthday and her contributions to the civil-rights movement, TriMet will not collect fares on buses, MAX, WES and LIFT on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

Join WTA's New Commute Chats Discussion Group March 10th!
WTA is forming a new open discussion group called Commute Chats and we're inviting you to join! This group will meet virtually every other month and offer an open space for informal conversations about transportation options in Washington County. Potential topics include TriMet service changes, vanpool programs, challenges commuters face when using transportation options, and ways GetThereOregon can support commuters.
