What is Get Home?
Get Home is a Guaranteed Ride Home program administered by Westside Transportation Alliance. We'll cover up to $35.00 of your Uber or Lyft fare in the event you experience unforeseen circumstances like personal illness, family emergencies, or unexpected overtime, that makes completing your alternative commute difficult or impossible.
Who's eligible?
Anyone who regularly logs alternative commute trips on GetThereOregon.org and lives or works in Washington County, or is an employee of or otherwise affiliated with WTA member business can use Get Home.
You must log at least eight alternative commute (train, transit, e-bike, bike, walk, skate, electric or kick scooter, & carpool) trips on Get There in a month to be eligible.
When can I use it?
Uber or Lyft trips where Get Home vouchers are used should start at or near your work location. This location should match or be near the ‘work’ address listed on your Get There account.

We know that real-life situations can be complicated, and no two are exactly alike. While we trust participants to use Get Home in good faith, we do reserve the right to review individual trips if something seems out of the ordinary. In the rare case that we do need to follow up, we may ask for simple documentation like an email, text, or service alert to help confirm the situation. If we find that a trip doesn’t meet the program guidelines, we’ll always start with a friendly reminder. Repeated misuse may lead to a request for reimbursement (up to $35.00) or, in some cases, removal from the program.
