A new way to get around Southwest Washington County has arrived. A collaboration between Washington County and Ride Connection, SPOT (Shared Public on-Demand Transit) Southwest provides public transportation to South Cooper Mountain, River Terrace, and Progress Ridge, with service to Washington Square Transit Center.

Riders can schedule same-day rides using an app or your phone. SPOT will pick you up where you are and take you where you want to go.

  • It's free to ride.

  • Anyone can ride for any trip purpose within the service zone.

  • It runs Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Ride Connection says they've secured funding to operate SPOT through at least July 2027, and aims to secure additional funds through the State-wide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF) to operate beyond that date.
