We're excited to announce our newest municipal member, the City of Tualatin.

Tualatin’s history has long been shaped by transportation. From its early development along the Tualatin River and the arrival of the railroad to its growth into a thriving community in the Portland metropolitan region; the ways people move to, from, and through Tualatin have played an important role in shaping the city.

said WTA Executive Director, Jeff Pazdalski. "We look forward to working with the City on activities that benefit Tualatin's employees and residents."

Today, Tualatin offers residents, employees, and visitors a growing range of transportation choices. TriMet bus service connects Tualatin with destinations including Beaverton, Tigard, Sherwood, Lake Oswego, and downtown Portland, while WES commuter rail line provides weekday peak-hour service connecting Tualatin with Beaverton, Tigard, and Wilsonville.

Local connections are strengthened by Ride Connection’s free Tualatin Shuttle, with Red and Blue Line service providing first- and last-mile connections between the WES station, local neighborhoods, community destinations, and major employment areas.

The Tualatin Shuttles provide free circulator service around Tigard.

Tualatin has also embraced micromobility through its Lime shared e-scooter program, helping provide another option for short trips and closing gaps between destinations and transit.
