About the Active Transportation Challenge

A friendly competition for people that live or work in Washington County and employees of WTA member organizations. Walk, bicycle, scooter, and skateboard trips all count! Walk or roll to work, to the store, or for fun and log your trips during the month of May.
 

How to Join

If you have an account on Get There Oregon and a home or work address in Washington County, you will be automatically entered!

If you don't already have an account, creating one is fast, easy, and free.
 

What Trips Count?

• ​Trips made by bike, walk, scooter, and skateboard all count.  
• Commute and non-commute trips count!
• Using transit? Log your bike/walk/roll trips to and from stops to be eligible!​ ​​

Form a Team

Form a team with your co-workers, family, and friends. Forming a team is easy! Visit this page and click the "Create a Team" button!

​After forming a team you will get a custom url you can send to others to invite them to join your team.

Don't have a team? That's ok! This challenge is for individuals too.

Prize Info

​Teams representing WTA member organizations will compete for the WTA League championship and possession of the champion’s traveling trophy for the coming year. 

Weekly individual prize drawings: At least 2 prizes per week with the number of drawing entries = the number of trips recorded in that week. 

Exclusive for priority commuters, at least 2 additional prize drawings per week! To see if you qualify, complete this form to let us know and become eligible for these exclusive prize drawings!

The first 20 qualifying Priority Commuters to log at least one trip will receive a $10 gift card!

Prizes will be awarded at the end of the challenge to the top three individuals in number of trips.. 

Weekly individual prize drawings limited to 1 prize per participant. Final prizes for number of trips and number of miles limited to 1 prize per participant. Teams must include at least 4 members to be eligible for the WTA League championship. A maximum of 4 trips per day are eligible.
