Updates to drastic changes and cuts to westside TriMet service proposed for this August
Following community engagement and feedback, TriMet has updated the changes and cuts on deck for August 23, 2026.
On the Westside, changing services include: 20 - Burnside/Stark, 76 - Hall/Greenburg, 45 - Garden Home, 37 - Lake Grove, 38 - Boones Ferry Rd, 58 - Canyon Rd, 96 - Tualatin / I-5, 97 - Tualatin-Sherwood Rd, and LIFT Paratransit Service.

March transit service changes
On March 1, TriMet reduced transit service on Lines 48 and 76 in Washington County as part of their ongoing work to close a $300 million budget gap.

Westside Trail Project Community Survey
This project aims to develop new segments of the Westside Regional Trail between NW 158th & Walker Rd to NW Kaiser Rd including a pedestrian bridge over U.S. Highway 26. The future trail segments and bridge will create a link connecting over 25-miles of regional trails for pedestrians and bicyclists to reach destinations across Washington County.

Annual free month-pass for reduced fare participants
We're committed to making transportation options more affordable for our most vulnerable communities. That's why we're stepping up to fill a gap after TriMet discontinued their annual free month-pass benefit for reduced-fare card holders.
Anyone who lives or works in Washington County, or is an employee of or affiliated with a member of Westside Transportation Alliance; and is a reduced-fare Hop Fastpass card holder is eligible for this benefit.
