What is the MOVe More Challenge?

The WTA League

The Move More Challenge is a statewide friendly competition between teams. Teams have traditionally been workplace based, and the event is a great way to stay connected with co-workers when you may not be able to be at the workplace together.

The Street Trust coordinates the challenge, tallies the results, and gives out the statewide incentives and awards. Westside Transportation Alliance provides additional local incentives for employees of WTA member organizations and coordinates the WTA League competition. This means there are more opportunities to win for WTA members!

In addition to a new name, the Move More Challenge will feature other new features in 2021:

• All types of non-driving trips count! This year trips made by bicycling, walking, and riding transit are all included! See the Move More Challenge website for more information. 
• The Move More Challenge is using getthereoregon.org as its host platform. This is different from what the challenge has used in the past, but this is the same website WTA uses for Commuter Kickbacks! 
• This year's challenge will welcome teams of all sizes and types, including teams not based at workplaces.

The WTA League is exclusively open to riders and teams from our member organizations. Riders in the WTA League have MORE chances to win! In addition to prizes offered by The Street Trust as part of the statewide challenge, WTA League participants will be eligible for these exclusive local incentives:

Kick-off incentive prize drawings at the end of June.

• Join the challenge and log at least one trip in June to be eligible!

Weekly incentive prize drawings throughout July and August.

• Be sure to log trips each week between July 5 and August 31 to be eligible for the weekly prize drawings!

WTA League Photo Submission Contest

We love hearing about all the ways people experience the Move More Challenge! Share your Move More Challenge photos with us for a chance to win WTA's Photo Contest. We're accepting photos of your rides, walks, and transit trips, including scenery you discover along the way, photos of your trusty bicycle or favorite coffee shop, and anything in between. You'll get one entry into our special prize drawing per photo submitted with a limit of three entries per person (but feel free to share as many photos as you'd like!)
