BikeLoud PDX, a grassroots bicycling advocacy group, is conducting a Women Biking survey to gather information about the experiences of women with bicycling. They invite people who bike regularly, people who seldom bike, and people who don't bike at all to take the survey. BikeLoud PDX estimates that it will take about 10 minutes to complete the survey.

Various boards, committees and commissions advise the Board of Commissioners on matters of interest to people who live and work in Washington County. Members are volunteers appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). Committees themselves do not pass ordinances to establish policy; their purpose is to study issues and make recommendations.
Serving on an appointed board or commission is an opportunity for Washington County residents to participate in decisions that affect them and to learn more about how local government works. In many cases, members must be residents of Washington County.
Per Board of Commissioners procedures, the County Administrative Office will solicit applications from individuals for a six-week period. Staff will keep the Commissioners apprised of applications received and approaching deadlines. The application deadline is March 12, 2024, or open until filled. For more information on how to apply, please visit the Boards and Commissions webpage.
